Over the past eight years and more than 30 projects, I’ve had the opportunity to help shape RSM’s brand through motion design. Following the company’s 2023 brand refresh, I was among the first to bring its new visual identity to life through animation.
This video introduces RSM Luca, a digital audit ecosystem named after Luca Pacioli, the “father of modern accounting.” It connects tools, processes and methodologies to enhance the audit experience. A polyhedron represents this interconnected system, and the animation draws inspiration from its shape – flowing lines and connected dots smoothly guide viewers from scene to scene.
Acronyms within acronyms! GVCR stands for Global VAT (Value-Added Tax) Compliance and Reporting. This explainer video breaks down a complex service in a clear, engaging way. It was one of the first projects to incorporate RSM’s new brand elements following the refresh.
This video supported the launch of RSM’s Strategic Tax Technology vision – a transformative shift designed to enhance client service, improve the talent experience and drive efficiency through automation.
Big changes can feel daunting. This video was designed to shift the narrative from fear to excitement – focusing on the opportunities automation creates, particularly the transition from manual tasks to high-value advisory work.
RSM’s Federal Tax Structure initiative strategically aligns professionals with the right clients, roles and growth opportunities, reinforcing the firm’s position as the first-choice tax advisor for the middle market.
To support the initiative’s launch and build internal buy-in, this video combined interviews captured at an industry event with seamlessly integrated animated graphics, created through rotoscoping and motion design.
The RSM Owners Meeting gathers over 1,000 partners from across the U.S. and Canada every two years. For 2024, the main video display spanned nearly 17 million square pixels across nine screens.
This high-energy opening video used every pixel to build excitement for the three-day event and reinforce the theme: Be RSM. The ultra-wide format was later adapted to 16x9 for remote attendees.
RSM’s Power Factory helps businesses harness Microsoft’s Power Platform with a secure, flexible architecture. As an Empowerment Experience sponsor at Microsoft’s 2024 Power Platform Community Conference, RSM had the opportunity to showcase this through a video that played ahead of each speaking session. It was also featured at the RSM booth and now lives on the Power Factory landing page.
